Nevado Huascarán : (6,768 m.s.n.m) es el nevado mas alto del Perú y el tercero en el mundo, se ha convertido en uno de los lugares de mayor atractivo para los alpinistas y turistas que visitan el Parque Nacional, al pie de sus faldas se encuentran las ciudades de Yungay y Ranrahirca, las mismas que fueron sepultadas por el aluvión del 31 del Mayo de 1,970.

Nevado Huascaran : (6,768 n.a.s.l.) It´s the highest peak (nevada) in Perú and the third in the world, it has become in one of the most attractive places for the climbers (alpinists) and tourists who visit the National Park every year, on the foothill of Huascaran we find Yungay and Ranrahirca, beautifull cities, which were covered by the flood (alluvion) of May 31, 1,970.

Laguna de Llanganuco : (3,850 m.s.n.m). Está ubicada a 25 Kms. de la provincia de Yungay, al pie de los nevados Huascarán y Huandoy; en ellas se encuentran las lagunas Chinancocha (laguna hembra) y Orconcocha (laguna macho); el color verde turquesa de sus aguas, sus montañas y su flora y fauna silvestre, lo convierten a este lugar en un pequeño paraíso terrenal.

Llanganuco Lake : (3,850 n.a.s.l.). Is located at 25 Kms. from the province of Yungay. On the foothill of Huascaran and Huandoy peaks (nevadas) two attractive lakes are found in this place Chinancocha (female lake) and Orconcocha (male lake); the turquoise green color of its water, the forests of Quenuales and its Mountains make this place a small earthly paradise.

Pastoruri :

(5,200 m.s.n.m). Está ubicado a 127 kms. al sur de la provincia de Yungay, en la cordillera blanca, es un excelente lugar para los deportes de nieve como el ski y otros.

Chavín de Huantar : (3,150 m.s.n.m.) a 164 kms. de Yungay; antiguo templo Pre-Inca de 1,000 años antes de Cristo, se encuentra en el hermoso callejón de Conchucos.
